4 Sessions: Tuesdays, January 14, 2024 - February 4, 2025 | 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Students at all levels are welcome to learn the art of pastels. Discover how to paint in soft pastel, considered by many as the purest of painting media. Soft pastel is bright, colorful and easy to learn. Award-winning Miami artist, Dan Bondroff will teach students how to create tropical landscape paintings in soft pastel from concept to completion.

Classes will be taught indoors. Students can choose to paint the same subject provided by the instructor or bring their own source photos.

Classes are taught “Workshop-Style”. Each session starts with a complete demonstration of how to paint in pastels. Students will get one on one assistance throughout the session to help them complete their projects. Smaller demonstrations will be given in later in the session.

Instructor Bio: Dan Bondroff has a B.S. in Art/Visual Communication from Towson University. Working with pastels, he enjoys capturing those often overlooked and fleeting moments that occur in the natural world. He also looks forward to guiding his students as they make their own discoveries.
