Perfect for both beginners and intermediate students, award-winning artist Dan Bondroff will guide you through the basics of drawing, composition, and value. Each session begins with live demonstrations, and then you'll dive into hands-on learning with our provided reference photos.

Students will learn:

• How to simplify compositions to make drawing easier.
• How to construct line drawings without the use of grids or projection.
• How light affects objects and how that translates to drawings.
• How to interpret values and properly shade
• How to apply form and texture to drawings

Instructor Bio: Dan Bondroff has a B.S. in Art/Visual Communication from Towson University. Working with pastels, he enjoys capturing those often overlooked and fleeting moments that occur in the natural world. He also looks forward to guiding his students as they make their own discoveries.
