Join us as we paint outdoors as we learn to paint a Garden scene “in one pass”. When painting landscapes, we as artists are always striving to fully embody that feeling and energy of the scene we are painting. There is truly no better way to do this than by actually putting yourself and your canvas directly into the scene itself.
This oil painting class is recommended for anyone with at least a beginner-intermediate level of comfort with painting.
Lily Keller is a painter and painting teacher working primarily in oils and watercolors. Born in Miami in 1981, Lily draws a lot of her inspiration from the Everglades and coastal regions of South Florida, along with the salt marsh habitats of New England where she spent many years living year-round on Martha’s Vineyard. Lily has been teaching oil painting for 6 years now, through her online course, in-person painting workshops, private zoom classes, and private in-home lessons. Her passion is opening up the beautiful world of oil paints to others, and introducing what has often been considered an advanced or complicated process in a truly simple, step by step way. When she is not painting in her studio she can be found spending time outside with her three boys, preferably on or in the water.
