Enjoy dedicated studio time alongside fellow artists in this Open Studio class led by Dan Bondroff. This open-format session offers structure through guidance and feedback, while allowing each participant the freedom to work independently.

This class is intended for artists with prior experience in painting and drawing. Participants are welcome to work in any medium and on any subject matter, at their own pace.

With a practice spanning pastel, acrylic, pen & ink, and charcoal, and experience working in oil and watercolor, Dan Bondroff is well equipped to support artists across a wide range of media, offering practical feedback that adapts to each student’s process and goals.

Students may bring reference materials, sketchbooks, or unfinished works to continue developing during class. Dan will circulate throughout the session to offer individual feedback, answer questions, and share technical insights, while participants also benefit from learning alongside and connecting with their peers.

This class provides a focused, supportive environment for artists looking to refine their work, experiment, and stay engaged in a creative practice.


Instructor Bio: Dan Bondroff has a B.S. in Art/Visual Communication from Towson University. Working with pastels, he enjoys capturing those often overlooked and fleeting moments that occur in the natural world. He also looks forward to guiding his students as they make their own discoveries.
