Compost 102: Intermediate and Advanced Composting Strategies for Home Gardens with The Worm Queen

DATE: Saturday 6/27/26   TIME: 11:00am - 1:00pm

Join us for an interactive workshop on the fascinating world of living soils and compost teas. Through an engaging presentation and hands-on discussion, you’ll explore soil microbes, composting, and the difference between living soil, synthetic fertilizers, and bagged mixes. Learn how plants “eat and drink,” and discover how healthy soil can transform your garden.

We’ll dive into soil ecology, the role of organic amendments, and techniques to build nutrient-rich soil that supports thriving plants. The class also covers how to brew and apply various compost teas, including a special focus on worm tea.

Worm Tea, Worm Bins, and other relevant materials will be available for demonstration and purchase after the class.  All items are discounted as a part of your participation.
