Painting Fairchild's Wildlife in Watercolor with Donna Underwood

DATE: Wednesday 7/8/26   TIME: 10:30am - 12:30pm

Wednesdays, July 8, 2026 - August 5, 2026 | 10:30 am to 12:30 pm (5 Sessions)

Join artist Donna Underwood to explore the techniques of watercolor while capturing the diverse wildlife found throughout the Garden. This course focuses on the smooth transition between subject matter and background, teaching you to balance loose brushwork with realistic detail and navigate the interplay of light, shadow, and form.

You will learn to create a unified composition by bridging the space between fluid gesture and structured subject. Please feel free to bring your own personal photographs to work from or select a subject from the Garden’s collection of local wildlife imagery.
