Location: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Guests park and enter through the Lowlands. Parking opens at 6:30 PM, and guests in line will be scanned in when doors open.

Tonight, something has awakened in the Garden.

Years ago, a Garden caretaker documented strange occurrences after dark: voices near the Gatehouse, unexplained cards appearing along the Allée, objects disappearing from the Shop, strange lights beneath the Vine Pergola and, finally, something in the water at Amazonia. Before vanishing, the caretaker left a warning:

"If the shadows return, follow the path I took. Do not leave the Garden until you know what followed me home."

Pick up your Shadow Trail card at entry and follow the path through six haunted encounters. At each stop, you'll uncover another piece of what happened that night. Complete your card and drop it at the exit for a chance to win 2 tickets to The Cacao Royale Experience at the 2027 Chocolate Festival.

• Six story encounters along the Shadow Trail
• Tarot card readings (included with admission, subject to availability)
• Contortionist and aerialist performances at the Amazonica Lawn
