We are excited to return to Fairchild once again! Local growers will offer hundreds of species of palms and cycads for sale, making this likely the largest palm and cycad sale in Florida. This year, the show will be located in the Lakeside Marquee Tent area, just a short walk from the Visitor Center.

The sale is a chance to discover an incredible variety of palms and cycads. Palm enthusiasts looking for rare palms and cycads are encouraged to come early on Saturday. Lists of vendors and all species will be posted on the South Florida Palm Society website about 10 days before the sale.

Local growers will be on hand to offer expert advice on plant care and maintenance, and members of the Society will be available to help with your selection and share growing tips.

Fairchild is home to a world-renowned palm collection, and SFPS members will lead guided walking tours of the collection at 12:30 p.m. on both days.

The Lakeside area is one of the most scenic spots in the Garden. After you find your special plants, take a stroll along the lake and explore the rest of Fairchild’s 83 acres. Picnic tables are available nearby, and you can stop by the café for a bite. Make a full day of it at Fairchild!
