Nothing says summer is here better than summer camp at Fairchild!

Camp Discovery is a fun, educational adventure for students 7-12 years old! It offers kids an opportunity to explore Fairchild’s tropical oasis, experiment with plants that can feed astronauts, and learn about the botanical world around them. Campers are sure to love it!

Week 1 - Powered by Plants - June 22nd - June 26th

Seeds of curiosity sprout as we explore the fascinating world of plant science together!

Week 2 - Focus on Florida - June 29th - July 3rd

Numerous native plant and animal species are at the center of an in-depth exploration of our home state! 

Week 3 - Garden Guardians - July 6th - July 10th

From local movements to global efforts, learn about what it takes to protect plants, even in your own backyard!

Week 4 - Roots Through Time - July 13th - July 17th

Travel back in time to unearth the secrets of plants throughout history, from before the age of dinosaurs to the modern day! 

Week 5 - Petals and Paintbrushes - July 20th - July 24th

Art and science bloom together as we learn all about botany with a creative twist! 

Week 6 - Plants on the Edge - July 27th - July 31st

Caution - this week is only for those ready to explore what it takes to survive and even thrive in the most extreme environments on Earth, and beyond!

Fairchild Members: $225 per week, per camper
Nonmembers: $275 per week, per camper
After-Care: Additional $50 per week, per camper
